During the past year, the Good Shepherd Academy Board of Directors has been seeking the Lord about the future direction of GSA. After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, the Board has made a decision to suspend our homeschool enrichment classes and take a sabbatical for the 2008-09 school year. Because GSA is a ministry to homeschooling families, we value our calling to provide excellent educational enrichment opportunities for the children that we serve. We take very seriously our responsibility to be good fiscal stewards of the gifts that God has given us, knowing that He alone is the source of all of our supply! If the enrichment classes at Good Shepherd have been a blessing to your homeschooling family, we invite you to pray with us over the next few months to see what God might have in store for the future of GSA. Please pray with us for a building in the best location to serve our homeschooling families, for teachers who are called to work with homeschoolers, and for financial blessing to meet all of the fiscal responsibilities of the GSA ministry. We apologize for any inconvenience that our sabbatical may cause your homeschooling efforts. The Good Shepherd Academy Bookstore WILL REMAIN OPEN in its current location to serve as a resource for homeschool curriculum and supplies.
